Family Winter Outdoor Activities Bucketlist
I’ve put together this activity bucket list to help you enjoy time with your family, including your little one with autism, and to give you ideas to make this holiday season magical, memorable and fun. Make sure you print out the printable Family Holiday Bucketlist at the end of the post so that you can list the activities you would like to do, gifts you’d like to buy for your child or others during the holiday season, as well as any Winter Crafts you’d like to make with your child.
21 Winter Outdoor Activities for Kids with Autism
1. Go sledding.
2. Make snow angels.
3. Run around.
4. Take you family therapy dog for a Winter walk.
5. Take your sensory breaks outside. (Don’t forget your child’s sensory break cards!)
6. Play with a sensory box outside.
7. Go for a nature walk.
8. Make a Winter wonderland (Frozen) sensory bottle.
9. Build a fairy house outside.
10. Take a drive and look at the Christmas decorations in your neighborhood.
11. Make your Elf on the Shelf act up outside!
12. Take a walk outside and take some photos.
13. Do some journaling.
14. Go on a search for materials for play dough stamping.
15. Go ice skating.
16. Go snowshoeing.
17. Build a bonfire and make s’mores.
