Prepare the Christmas truck Coloring Page

  • Step 1 : Download and print out your free printable Christmas truck coloring page.
  • Step 2 : Put out some crayons, markers or colored pencils.
  • Step 3 : Guide your little ones to color in the pages.

How to use the Christmas truck coloring page with autistic learners

There are lots of fun ways to teach using this Christmas coloring page. It’s one of my favorite Christmas activities for autistic children.

  • Build fine motor skills. Guide your child or students to fill in the colors of the Christmas tree, truck and snowflakes.
  • Increase your learner’s vocabulary. Teach the words “Christmas tree”, “truck”, “wheels”, “snowflake” and more with this fun coloring page.
  • Work on colors. As you and your little learner fill in the coloring page, teach the name for each color, “red”, “green”, “white”, etc.
  • Teach turn taking. Take turns coloring in the coloring page to teach your little one about taking turns. You could even say “my turn!” and color in part of the drawing and then “your turn” and your child or student colors in the drawing.
  • Improve pencil (marker) grip. Coloring is a great activity to naturally improve pencil grip. If pencil grip is a big challenge, start with thicker crayons at first.
