- Printer & printer paper
- Laminator & laminating sheets
- Scissors
- Magnetic tape
Step 1

Print out the lake page, the lake and fish page and the fish page (the printable game has 3 pages total).
Step 3
Laminate the pages.
Step 4
Cut out the fish so they can go in the lake!
Step 5 (Optional)
If you are planning to use this activity on a magnetic board, you can use magnetic tape on the back of the fridge and each food item.
How to use the Fill the Lake! Fish Matching Game with your child
- Ask your child to put the fish in the lake (simple lake page).
- Take turns putting the fish in the lake (simple lake page).
- Have your child match the fish (fish in the lake page).
- Ask your child to count the fish.
- Have your child label the fish.
- Use a sign to ask for various items while playing the game.
This is a useful activity to teach new vocabulary or reinforce your child’s exisiting vocabulary skills.
