DIY finger puppet stages

These DIY finger puppet stages make playing with finger puppets even more fun! Finger puppets are a wonderful tool for teaching symbolic play, communication and imitation skills to children with autism.

I love finger puppets! They are entertaining and you can use them to teach your child a variety of new skills. At Le Chemin ABA, we use finger puppets to increase vocabulary and conversation skills, build fine motor skills and increase symbolic play. Use these tips to learn how to use finger puppets to teach autistic kids.

To add to the finger puppet fun, I suggest making a DIY finger puppet stage to play with your finger puppet collection.

Below are some of my favorite finger puppet theatre projects to help you and your kids really bring your finger puppet play to life!
