DIY Springtime decoupage birdhouse

I love fun DIY projects. This darling little birdhouse was so fun to make!

Decoupage birdhouse project. Planting Springtime flowers with the kids at LE CHEMIN ABA, center for children with autism and other special needs in Paris, France.

You will need :

♥ Decopatch rosebud paper

♥ Decopatch varnish glue (also exists in this sparkly version)

♥ Decopatch brushes

♥ Round wooden birdhouse

This birdhouse is very easy to make and can be done with small kids and kids with various learning levels.

Step 1

Rip Decopatch rosebud paper into strips.

Step 2

Cover small parts of the birdhouse with Decopatch varnish glue.

Step 3

Stick the paper to the birdhouse and use your Decopatch brush to apply another layer of glue over the paper.

Leave to dry!

Et voilà! You have yourself a beautifully decorating little birdhouse. We put ours in our courtyard garden.

Add some birdseed and the birds around your home will be very happy! There are 541 recorded bird species in Metropolitan France.

In Paris, you are mostly likely to see…

(They’re pretty cute too.)

Have fun decoupaging with your little ones! I hope you’ll tell me all about it in the comments! ♥
