Apple pie playdough printing by Emma Owl

Playdough printing (also known as playdough stamping) is SO.MUCH.FUN! You can start by preparing the apply pie scented playdough with your child. Preparing playdough is a great functional skill as it teaches your child to follow several steps towards a particular goal. It also has a lot of sensory appeal as your child will get to smell the lovely scent of apple pie scented playdough and touch all of the ingredients necessary to prepare it.

Playdough printing will help your child build a variety of skills : fine motor skills (hand strength and precision), following instructions and increasing concentration and focus.

We love everything sensory at Le Chemin ABA. Sensory activities stimulate the senses and often engage children with special needs more easily than activities without a sensory component.
