Mr. Potato Head
Mr. Potato Head was invented way back in 1949 and Hasbro began distribuing it in 1952. At that time, Mr. Potato Head used to consist of plastic body parts that you stuck into a real potato! That kind of sounds like fun. I wonder how the children at Le Chemin ABA would respond to that?! We may have to give this a try…!
Learn how to use Mr. Potato Head as a therapeutic tool for children with autism or other communication difficulties here. You can also buy a Mrs. Potato Head now to add to the learning fun.

Children’s portable music player
Fisher Price cassette player from the 1980s. Today’s version is a CD player and looks much more high tech! I actually had this one in the 1980s!
Another fun Fisher Price toy is the recently re-released Fisher Price classics record player. To see more fun vintage toys, take a look at my article about the Fisher Price classics collection here .

Dollhouse
This is an original American dollhouse from the 1800s – originally owned by a little girl named Nancy Allen. Even back in the 1800s, children were playing house using a dollhouse and miniatures!
My favorite dollhouse on the market at the moment is the Magnolia Mansion.
