DIY dollhouses : cardboard townhouses, a dollhouse on wheels and a rooftop garden

I have been collecting information about DIY dollhouses recently as we work on our very own DIY dollhouse at my autism center in Paris. A dollhouse is a great learning tool. Use it to teach new vocabulary, build fine motor skills & more.

We are in the process of creating a sweet dollhouse out of a mini shelving unit. It has an added bonus of being inside a little cupboard that the kids can open. There’s enough room to fit inside and play or to leave the door open and play in a small group. The door is painted with chalkboard paint so the kids can write on it! More on this wonderful project coming soon… ♥

I have been inspired by many DIY dollhouse projects I have seen recently. These are some of my absolute favorites!
