What will you teach this week? What are your goals in your home program this week?
As we wrap up the weekend and plan for a new, fresh week ahead, what are you hoping to achieve with your child this week?
Maybe you are just getting started with a home program and so your goals this week are to :
- create a progress nook
- put together your magic bag of curated materials for progress
- select the puzzles your child needs to start table learning
- learn everything you need to know about starting a home program for your child
Maybe you already have your progress nook set-up and you have already purchased the materials you need to start working with your little one. In this case, your goals may be to :
- organize your child’s learning materials
- organize your child’s books
- organize your home to increase your child’s opportunities for learning
Maybe you have already done all of these steps and you are looking for a fun art project to do with your child this week :
Maybe your goal is simply to be present with your child this week.
Whatever your goals are for this week, I hope that you are starting the week with enthusiasm, love and the joy of knowing that every single moment you spend teaching your child is worthwhile. Your child is learning even if it seems sometimes that you are not making a difference or that your child is trying to get away from you when you are inviting him or her to come and work with you at the table, on the floor or in a NET (natural environment teaching) activity.
Every step of this journey counts. Every teaching moment counts. You are doing an absolutely incredible job and your child is progressing thanks to YOU! Way to go!
So, what will you teach this week?
