Today, at Le Chemin ABA, we made a fun flower craft. I am always looking for new ways to build fine motor skills around here. I pinned this project from Fireflies and Mudpies to my Spring Crafts for Children with Autism Pinterest Board to make with the kiddos another day. Well, today was that day!
To make these darling flowers :
You will need :
♥ Construction paper
♥ Brightly colored straws
♥ Hole punch
Step 1 :
Cut out 4 hearts (per flower). (I had some binder dividers that I didn’t need any more so we used these for this project. You could also use construction paper.)
Step 2 :
Prepare 1 colorful straw (per flower).
Step 3 :
Punch a hole near the bottom of each heart.
Step 4 :
Connect hearts where holes meet and tape together to create your flowers.
Not only is this craft adorable and fun but it is also an excellent way to help your child build his or her fine motor skills.
