.Go for a long walk around Paris. Ahh, Paris. My favorite place in the world. We are so lucky to live here. What better way to enjoy our city while also pampering our pooches than to walk around Paris? Some of our favorites spots? Our neighborhood : the 9th arrondissement of Paris near Anvers, Montmartre, the Marais in the 4th arrondissement and the Japanese neighborhood : the Quartier Saint Anne. (Ok those are 4 of our favorire spots, but there are so many more!)
.Give your dog a massage. My husband discovered at some point that our dogs (especially Violette!) love massages. The first time we discovered this, we laughed and laughed and laughed. Violette seemed to be in some kind of doggie trance. She was loving it! We looked it up online and apparently, it’s a thing. You can be a certified dog massager!
.Bake your dog some treats. At Le Chemin ABA, we LOVE to cook! We are always making something in our kitchen. Often, we’re making dog treats!
.Cuddle up to your dog and watch a film. Our dogs love watching a movie with us. On the couch cuddled up between us is definitely their happy place.
.Garden with your dog. Violette and Chou Chou love being with us when we are gardening. They love lying in the sunshine, sniffing around and just being together outside. The love when all of the kids are outside with us and they get lots of pets and cuddles!
.Give your dog a bath. Chou Chou is very small – 1.6 kilos to be exact – and is very timid. He loves going for walks but is unsure when he is around dogs he doesn’t know. Often his idea of a “walk” is climbing into my purse and being carried around all day. Bathtime, however, is when he lets his athletic abilities shine! He can actually swim laps (guys, he’s really, really tiny!) in our bathtub! He loves this!
Do you have any other ideas? What is the best way to pamper your dog (therapy pup or not)? ♥
